This week was nothing like we had planned! The kids started dropping like flies and most of what we had planned got cancelled.

 

Despite all the sickness and grumpy attitudes due to not feeling well I've still got several great moments to share. Because again, there is always joy because our God is a good, good God!

We had another four day week which meant every day I had no clue what day it actually was. I really loved our bonus family day but man, it threw me off! I did finally get my head on straight and accomplished quite a bit that I needed to get done this week. Now I'm ready for a "normal" week with nothing on the calendar. Plus, it's October now which means three of the kids have birthdays this month so I need to get planning and shopping!

Girls' lunch, apple crisp, and starting preschool - 4 places I found joy in the chaos this week

It was a pretty big week around here with the little three starting a new adventure. I'll go into that more below so you'll have to keep scrolling to find out more. My MOPS group also started this week but of course I was busy running around and co-leading the meeting so I didn't snap any pictures of our great night together. I'm really pumped for this year, especially because we have so many new moms joining us. If you are looking to find some great mom friends I encourage you to seek out a MOPS group in your own area. I'd be lost at mothering without them!

Mother's Day, itsy bitsy spider, and a sunset - five places I found joy in the chaos this week

Um, it was an interesting week. The "fun" actually started last Saturday while I was at the Women's event at our church. Parker started vomiting and didn't stop most of the day. He woke up feeling better but incredibly worn out on Sunday. This meant I went to church alone while Micah stayed home with the kids, just in case anyone else was carrying germs.
