My Top 20+ Favorite Frugal Living Tips

My Top 20+ Favorite Frugal Living Tips

Staying home and living on one income is often hard. It means sacrificing some luxuries that come with two incomes. It means we've never been on a "real" vacation - we always visit our families and stay at their homes - but we are making great memories. It means we have to choose between certain activities, or no activities at all, because we simply don't have the funds. It sometimes means eating every last scrap of food in the house to make it to the next payday.

I'm guessing more than you realize.

Seeing God’s Provision in the Little Things

Seeing God’s Provision in the Little Things

When the bank account looks empty and the cupboards the same we pray for a raise but God provides with a basket of fresh produce from a friend’s garden. When we get laid off and we pray for a new job and God provides with unemployment. When we want to attend an event and pray for our budget to work this month and God provides with a scholarship. Not how we expect, but provisions nonetheless.

Promises for the Hungry Heart - Week 42 {Update}

Promises for the Hungry Heart - Week 42 {Update}

As I was looking through the promises this week I thought I was reading the promises from last week because the promise from Jeremiah is so very similar! I think God repeats himself because we have such a hard time believing nearly anything the first time. How often do you hear something powerful and still hold doubt in your mind? God repeats himself so that we have a chance to let these amazing promises actually sink in by reading them over and over in various ways throughout the Bible.

With that being said, the promise I chose to focus on this week is...
