Weekly Menu Plan #38

I love menu planning and seeing other's dinner plans! I'm weird like that ;) As I've shared before, being in the kitchen is my happy place so I love finding meals that are new but I also never forget our favorites! These will link to the author's original recipe unless it's my own recipe/creation that I don't have a link for... yet.

If you need some inspiration for how to create menu plans you can read here where I go into detail about how I make a plan for our food week and here to read how I create our grocery list.

Sunday: Burgers - Nothing fancy, just classic cheeseburgers with fries and carrot sticks for a side. I'm all about easy-peasy on a Sunday.

Monday: Chicken Alfredo BundlesWe've tried a different version of these made with cream of chicken soup and cheddar cheese so I think the Alfredo version will be tasty as well. A side of steamed broccoli will be a perfect accompaniment.

Tuesday: One Pot Pizza Pasta - We are big pizza fans around here and making it into a pasta dish that only gets one pot dirty? Amazing! I can't wait to eat this.

Wednesday: Sloppy Joes - I love freezer meals! The last time I made sloppy joes I made extra so I could throw some in the freezer for future use. All I need to do for dinner is put it in the crock pot with a little extra water and it will be ready just when we need it. Hallelujah!

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Homemade Pizza and Movie Night - you can find my pizza crust recipe here.

Saturday: Shepherd's Pie Is there a meal that screams comfort food more than shepherd's pie? A delicious stew topped with creamy mashed potatoes and then baked is begging to be eaten! We usually make ours with ground beef because it's what we have on hand.

What's on your menu this week?

Weekly Menu Plan #32

I love menu planning and seeing other's dinner plans! Sunday: Buffalo Chicken Taquitos - These have been on my mind for ages so I'm thrilled to have them on the menu again.

Monday: Chicken & Broccoli - I love using this slow cooker recipe for a classic Chinese take-out dish. When I use chicken instead of Beef I swap the beef broth for chicken broth and all is good! I also prefer to serve it over noodles rather than rice - less mess from the kids!

Tuesday: Classic Pork Roast & Gravy - If a roast with gravy, potatoes, and carrots doesn't scream fall I don't know what does! I'll probably throw in some of the 30-minute rolls I made last month during my freezer cooking spree to go along side. Yum!

Wednesday: Chicken & Dumplings - Yet another dish that begs to be eaten when the weather starts cooling off. I cut my dumplings smaller than the recipe suggests because I want them bite sized for the kids but everything else is the same.

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Homemade Pizza and Movie Night - you can find my pizza crust recipe here.

Saturday: Sticky Finger Wraps - We can't get enough of these around here! Despite the fall weather we won't say no to these delicious sweet & spicy chicken wraps. If you haven't tried them yet you really should!
